Retirement care

Royal Voluntary Service volunteers provide reassuring practical and emotional support to vulnerable people in communities across Britain, supporting clients to build resilience, maintain social connections and improve health and wellbeing. However, as we get older other types of more formal care or additional support may be required, and this can sometimes be hard to navigate.

To make finding appropriate care services as easy as possible for you and your family, we have partnered with Legal & General to raise awareness of their new online, independent care assessment service.

Find out more

Legal & General want to make it as easy as possible for people to understand their care options, find suitable care where they live and help people explore how they can pay for their care. The Later Life Care section of their website is the single place where those seeking care can access a range of online tools to do all three of these things.

From home adaptations to getting some extra help around the home, to retirement housing, care homes and respite care, Legal & General can help you to understand what type of care is right for you and how to arrange it.

And if you need to get care in place straightaway, their team of independent care experts are on hand to guide you through the process. Your first telephone consultation is free and can last up to 15 minutes and there's no need to proceed with any further services afterwards.

Their online service is totally free to use, so even if you just want to explore potential options for the future, you can do so in just a couple of clicks.
